The Greenhouse Principle – Hope Taking Root
(Mit Ive Niyitanga, Josephine Kansiime und Sserugunda Jessy)
The Greenhouse program in Philadelphia is about giving young people the tools to shape their own country, Uganda, despite the most difficult starting conditions.
Three students breaking barriers:
· Ive Niyitanga (S.2): He grew up with his grandmother, who struggled hard just to raise school fees. Ive is a true fighter who uses the safety of the Greenhouse to ensure he can one day be a blessing to his community.
· Josephine Kansiime (S.2): When her mother could no longer pay the fees, Josephine faced social exclusion. With us, she is now developing her gifts and wants to become a doctor to bring medical help to those who need it most.
· Sserugunda Jessy (S.4): Jessy lost his father early, and his mother could no longer finance his education. He is creative, a critical thinker, and passionately involved in agriculture. His goal: to become a teacher and pass on his knowledge.
