The construction of the German Room at Philadelphia Secondary School has officially begun. This marks an exciting milestone in the school’s ongoing development and commitment to improving language education. The new facility will provide a comfortable and well-equipped space where students can engage more effectively in their German studies.

Once completed, the German Room will serve as a central place for German lessons, cultural exchanges, and special assemblies. It will create an environment that brings the German language to life through interactive learning, presentations, and group discussions. Students will not only learn the language but also gain a deeper appreciation for German culture and traditions.

This project will play a key role in enhancing the four-language proficiency program offered at Philadelphia. By providing modern learning resources and a dedicated space, the school aims to help students achieve greater fluency and confidence in communication. The initiative reflects Philadelphia’s vision of empowering learners with global language skills and opening doors to international opportunities.

The school extends its heartfelt appreciation to the German Embassy in Kampala, Uganda, for its generous support and partnership in making this project a reality.
